Your Broth Saved Me...

I was at a luncheon with a few girlfriends last week and one of my dearest friends who is also a part time teacher said to me, " your broth saved me". I can not tell you how happy this makes me!!! She said that she pours the broth in her travel mug and sips on it all day and with all the kids around her, she managed escaping getting bug that is going around.

Then another friend mentioned that she had the stomach bug and she pretty much could only keep down the broth she got from us :( So, We thought some of you might want some of to keep some of these broths in your freezer for such days or just to add to your soup..... We are offering three types of broth, hearty veg which is deeper and stronger than our usual veg, and bone, grass fed beef and chicken. These broths are made with basic flavors and we suggest you add your own salt, pepper, maybe lemon juice, turmeric, ginger them to your own taste.

Another item that I wanted to include on this weeks is Olives. We forget that in addition to all that healthy fat, olives are packed with antioxidants. Also, olives are a fermented food, which means they’re rich in Lactobacillus, a kind of gut-friendly bacteria. The spread #B is made with kalamata olives and the salad #9 has both black and green olives.

The rest of the menu is really inspired by the holiday season. We wanted to offer items that are colorful, good for you, and ones that keep well since we will be closed till week of January 8th

We hope you will enjoy these dishes as much as we enjoy preparing them for you.

From everyone at Ezie and Emil... It's All about food
